Travel Information

Getting to Bochum

Bochum is centrally located in Germany and well-connected.
  • (Plane) Airports reasonably close to Bochum are Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS), Köln Bonn Airport (CGN), Dortmund Airport (DTM), and Frankfurt Airport (FRA).

The most convinient airport is probably Düsseldorf (DUS), which is a 30 min train ride from Bochum. DUS is often the best choice if you are travelling from Europe.

Frankfurt (FRA) is a central hub in Europe and well connected to every part of the world. There are direct high-speed trains from FRA to Bochum which take about 2 hours, making FRA often the best choice when travelling to Bochum from outside Europe.

  • (Train) Bochum is well connected to the German high-speed train network. For planning your journey please refer to the Deutsche Bahn AG.

  • (Car) Motorists can also easily reach Bochum via the dense network of motorways in Germany and especially in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Getting to the Venue
